Business Week 2008 and the YIBC are proud to continue our association with the Victoria Climbié Charitable Trust.

Thanks to last year’s brilliant fundraising efforts the construction of the primary school in Victoria’s home town in the Ivory Coast is nearly complete. The school is set to open in September this year. The money raised last year means the school is now big enough to welcome 360 local children.

Employing enough teachers is the next priority - the maths are simple:

One teacher = £1,000 per year Fifteen teachers are needed £15,000 must be raised Your support is vital. Last year’s help was fantastic and you helped build the school – this year the same effort will staff the school for twelve months and change the lives of 360 children forever.
